Welcome to the social hub. This is your own little personal corner of the net where you can just be what you want, say what you want, and do what you want. Sometimes you just need to let loose and say some really fucked up shit and you can do that right here. We are not responsible for what you say here or who stuff you in a bag and throws your body into the river but we will turn it into a killer story if we hear about it so take it as you will. All news will be curated specially by our very own media, Red Tape, who has promised me that we will only have the best of the best on this page. So really that means whatever her case is. Play nice, don’t kill each other too much, and have fun!

P.S.- The last guy who owned Eye Find was a real stick in the mud. Who filters swears and bans pornography? Some people am I right? Go crazy you freaks!

Unmarked Sudo Workshop By Rival Corporation

Good morning Night City! : )

You want to know my favorite part of being a media? You might think it's the adoring fans who follow my pages knowing that they can get the truth and while that's considerate, that's not it.

Maybe it's the way that my word alone can get corporations shaking in their 5,000 eddie boots? Again, a good touch but there's more to it than that.

Now my favorite thing about being a media is when I get to come back and tell people I am right. Ooooo damn there is nothing like it!

Last week I told you guys that a little birdie told me that there was a bit of tension going on between a couple of the fashion corporations in the city. I didn't name anything specific and kept it low to the ground but lo and behold suddenly tensions have had a peek just like I said they would.

Now I won’t point any fingers but some unlisted documents got out on a certain corporation that rhymes with barrage who staged a live assault on a Sudo design site.

Who knows what they're looking for but it certainly didn't work out with a couple employees dead, a couple in custody, and some civilians to boot.

Now that I think about it barrage might be a good word for what is about to come down on them. Just remember I told you so ; )

Unrelated note but I hear Montage is having a 20% off sale. Do yourself a favor and go pick yourself up a nice coat. You earned it hun.

Who's Celebrating? Not This City

In a shocking turn of events, Arasaka's infamous CEO died at nearly 160 years old. Saburo Arasaka, a man with the world's best medical care and security team, passed away from natural causes a few weeks ago, according to the company. And of course his son Yorinobu, heir to the great Arasaka throne, graciously and sadly accepted the position of new emperor and CEO. Someone better not tell this emperor his clothes are missing, it seems to me that he is just as power hungry and ruthless as his father was.

But I'm sure no one wants to hear me ramble off about things we all know by now, so I'll cut to the chase. To celebrate the life and success of their shining emperor, Arasaka decided to throw a massive parade in Saburo's honor. Night City sanctioned it, of course, but it seems its residents didn't get the same memo. C'mon people. This was a great man we're talking about! His company has blackmailed and killed mill--- I mean helped millions of people over the hundred some odd years it's been under his rule. Why was it that when I went to this grand celebration, everyone seemed so apathetic? Sure, there were a few Arasaka boot lickers that were on their knees in despair over Saburo's death, but most people seemed bored at best and angry at worst. The air was filled with so much tension and dissent, you could almost choke on it.

But hey, I get it. What's the death of one egotistical rich corpo (even a powerful one) when regular people are dying every day on the streets of Night City. Parents are going hungry so they can feed their children, hard working people are begging on the side of the road because they can't pay their rent, young teens are joining gangs and selling drugs just to support their family. The media is praising Saburo's greatness, but I haven't seen Arasaka helping any of these people. In fact, the megacorporation's greedy business practices are actively putting Night City's citizens in these dire situations. I don't see that as great. And I refuse to define greatness by how much money an already rich man can squeeze out of the people who have nothing to give.

So, Arasaka's grand emperor died and much like everyone else struggling to get by, I just don't give a fuck. I have much better things to worry about. So here's what I have to say to the new CEO. Go ahead and waste your mountains of money on parades no one cares about and to make yourself and your rich friends even richer. And certainly don't bother using it to actually help people and better the world. That way you can ensure that when the day eventually comes, no one will actually care that you died either.
